- Concept — fictional brand
A bold, project-led website for a timber construction company. The craftsmanship is shown through finished buildings, and the quote request asks the right questions.
The brief
Kante is a fictional, family-run timber construction company that builds extensions, roofs and new homes. Its work is beautiful, but its old website was a single page with a phone number and three blurry photos.
The idea
Let the buildings do the talking. Every project gets its own page with large images, key facts and the story behind it. People searching for timber construction in their region should land right on relevant references.
Key decisions
- Projects as proof. A gallery filtered by type: extensions, roofs, new builds, interiors.
- Local SEO built in. Each project page names the location, the scope and the materials used.
- A smarter quote request. A short guided form that asks for the details the team needs, so the first call is a productive one.
- Condensed, confident type. Tall capitals and a signal-yellow accent borrowed from the building site.
Designed to
- Show the quality of the work at a glance
- Rank for local searches in the company’s region
- Bring in better-prepared quote requests

On every screen
Kante Holzbau is a fictional brand, designed to show how I approach a real project. Any resemblance to an existing business is coincidental.
